ANCAP Safety 2020

Brand-New Mazda BT-50 has achieved the maximum five-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), across all Ute types.

Tested according to the stringent standards set by ANCAP, which became even more stringent in the latest round of test updates for 2020 and beyond, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 shone in all criteria to achieve the highest possible safety score from ANCAP.

Managing Director of Mazda Australia, Vinesh Bhindi, said the Mazda BT-50’s results reflect the company’s unwavering commitment to offering customers the best in safety technology.

“For Brand-New Mazda BT-50, safety was always our top priority, as it is with any model Mazda brings to market.”

“With its impressive suite of active and passive safety equipment, Brand-New BT-50 is at the forefront of safety technology, and this is strongly validated by ANCAP’s five-star rating,” Bhindi said.

Launched in Australia in October 2020, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 also boasts an extensive list of standard safety features, with the bulk deployed as standard from the entry grade XT.

The XT models offer LED Headlamps and halogen daytime running lamps, while XTR and GT grades employ self-levelling LED Headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and front fog lamps.
