ANCAP Safety, Australia’s leading independent vehicle safety authority, has awarded All-New Mazda CX-30 SUV a five star ANCAP rating and a near-perfect score for Adult Occupant Protection, with high scores also achieved across many other key assessment criteria.
All-New Mazda CX-30 performed exceptionally well across the range of destructive crash tests including the full width, side impact, oblique pole and whiplash tests. It also scored well in the Vulnerable Road User Protection category, notably with cyclists and pedestrians.
A high level of physical protection offered to child occupants was also noted, with the assessment showing a wide range of common child restraints could be safely accommodated.
All-New Mazda CX-30’s Smart Brake Support (SBS) in particular was praised with vehicle-to-vehicle collisions avoided or mitigated across higher-speed scenarios, while Lane Departure Warning was also acknowledged as key contributor to the overall score.
