Mazda CX-5 effortlessly accommodates the daily demands of the modern family with a newly designed cargo space that now offers a 2-piece luggage floorboard.
Two new features have been added to the CX-5 that will take its storage space and convenience to the next level.
New to the CX-5 is the hands-free power tailgate that automatically opens and closes with a simple kicking motion. This is particularly convenient for times when you have both hands full with groceries, luggage or are returning from the beach with heavy items.
In a first for Mazda, the newly designed cargo space offers a two-piece luggage floorboard. The front and rear sections can now be individually set up at upper or lower positions or stuck together at the upper level.
A flat space makes it easier to slide luggage or heavy items into the cargo space.
At the lower level, more space is created with depth added when the floorboards are lowered to the same position as previous CX-5 models.
The floorboards also include a reversible side that is water-resistant and perfect for storing wet or dirty items after the beach or camping.
