Manage Your Favourites | Mazda Infotainment

Ever wondered what that little star button was for on your centre console?

Well that’s your favourite button, and below we will tell you how to favourite things in your Mazda infotainment system to make your life easier, especially when you are driving.

You can favourite your most listened to radio stations including AM, FM, and DAB stations, but that’s not all. You can also favourite the contacts that you call most, and if you have a Mazda equipped with navigation, you can even favourite your most-visited places. Each of these lists can contain up to 50 items, giving you lots of freedom for how you customise your favourites.

HOW TO SET YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO STATIONS

There is one really easy way to make favourite radio stations. You just have to simply hold the favorite button (the one with the star) while in the audio tab when tuned to the station you want to favorite.

Afterward, your new favorite radio station will be added to the bottom of the favorites list.

HOW TO ADD YOUR FAVOURITE CONTACTS

With your phone connected and your contacts imported navigate to your contacts and select the contact you would like to add to your favourites.

Once again, press and hold the favourite button near your Commander Knob, and that contact will be added to the bottom of your favorites list.

HOW TO STORE YOUR FAVOURITE LOCATIONS

The easiest way to add a favourite location is to navigate to the favourites menu, which is accessed by simply tapping the favorites button on your center console. Scroll to the locations tab on the right indicated by the map, and click the top Add/Edit Navigation Favourite option. From here, you can add your current location, your current destination, or even add a location from your contact list.

WHAT DOES THE ADD/EDIT FAVOURITE ALLOW YOU TO DO?

The Add/Edit menu item is used to move a favorite up and down the list, and you can even delete a favourite through this option. For locations and contacts, you can also change the favorite’s name.
