We Fastened Our Pink Ribbons for Breast Cancer
Be breast aware and check your pair!
Sadly, we all know someone affected by breast cancer... Over 20,000 Australians will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year. At MGM, we want to help change those stats.
According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, the estimated number of new cases of breast cancer diagnosed in 2021 in Australia will be 20,030. 164 males and 19,866 females.
Every year, more and more people throughout our community are affected by breast cancer, whether it’s you, a member of your family, or someone you know.
That is why this October at Mount Gravatt Mazda, we put our 'breast' foot forward to spread awareness and help educate those that are near and dear. To honour customers, friends and family in our community who have been impacted by breast cancer we donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation from cars sold to help raise vital awareness and funds.
What’s more, as part of our Mount Gravatt Mazda Wellness program, our team and dealership turned pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We were out to 'Tim Tam slam' Breast Cancer! We took the opportunity to start a conversation about early detection with our team with some much-loved chocolate.
Sadly, we all know someone affected by breast cancer... me included. My mother was diagnosed and is a survivor! We are fortunate enough to have a real opportunity to increase awareness. We want to be part of the cure and make a difference.

At MGM this month, we wanted to support the fighters, admire the survivors, honour the taken and never give up hope for a cure. #zeroby2030.
Our Wellness Program also helps educate and acts as a reminder for our team and their loved ones to take the time to stay informed, be proactive, schedule their recommended screening tests and most importantly, BE BREAST AWARE!
