Turning Heads. Starting Conversations. Mazda BT-50
This week Mount Gravatt Mazda x TradeMutt celebrated its third anniversary with the launch of the head-turning, traffic-talking TIACS Mazda Mutt. This is the third Mazda BT-50 to join the social enterprise's fleet.Â
The team at MGM strongly believe in the TradeMutt and TIACS story and with the addition of another ute, we hope that it will continue to drive more conversations about mental health around South East Queensland.
Jason Banks, Co-CEO of TIACS will be behind the wheel of this 'conversation-starting'Â BT-50, wrapped in the very vibrant Amoeba Print. This moving billboard will continue to spark conversations around mental health and also allow the TIACS team to attend more events in our community to raise much-needed awareness and funds.
Banksy, we are keen to see you spread your message far and wide. Your rugged new BT is the perfect reminder that you don't have to tough it out alone, there are wonderful people available for you to talk to.
Thank you to all that were involved in the continuation of this collaboration â Bailey Print Garage, Mount Gravatt Mazda, TradeMutt & TIACS
We caught up with Jason and asked how the continued support from MGM would change his day-to-day. "TIACS is humbled by the partnership with Mount Gravatt Mazda, our new BT-50 (which was designed by TradeMutt) allows the TIACS team to get to even more community engagements and fundraisers"Â
The collaboration is aimed at driving conversations "The TIACS BT is a real head turner, this ute will raise awareness of the work that TIACS is doing to support the blue-collar community of Australia by providing free mental health counselling support"
Who is TIACS?
TIACS was born through the realisation that there were way too many barriers to free mental health support for the blue-collar community. Operating now for 3 years TIACS provides a free text and call service with qualified counsellors. Open Monday to Friday between 8am and 10pm AEST.Â
TIACS IS A FREE, MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLING SERVICE FOR TRADIES, TRUCKIES, RURAL AND BLUE-COLLAR WORKERS.
After successfully launching their social enterprise workwear company TradeMutt, founders Ed and Dan saw a great need to remove the barriers that prevented hard-working Australians from accessing professional mental health counselling.
TIACS removes the physical and financial barriers to accessing help through a simple text and call service directly to professional counsellors.Â
TIACS IS NOT A CRISIS SUPPORT SERVICE.
Other great services help with one-off support. TIACS provides counselling that aims to support your mental well-being for the long term. You will be provided with up to 8 free sessions via text or call with the same counsellor.
WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?
TIACS provides professional mental health counselling to Australiaâs blue collar community. TIACS also provides counselling services to anyone who may be a carer, friend or loved one of a blue-collar worker who is doing it tough.
Donât meet the above criteria? Not to worry, at TIACS we wonât turn anyone away. You could still be eligible to receive up to 2 counselling sessions where we provide information and resources and connect people to the right service they may need.
