This August we kicked off our Random Acts of Kindness drive at Mount Gravatt Mazda. We started this initiative back in 2019 and it’s something we are really proud to support each year. Whilst ideas continue to evolve and change from year to year that one thing that stays at the forefront, is allowing our team members across all departments – sales, service, parts & administration to band together and help those in our local community. This always allows our MGM Team to have an outlet and give back.
TWO BASKETS, ONE BIG THANK YOU
As part of our annual Random Acts of Kindness initiative, our team across sales, service & parts came together to run a donation drive for Micah Projects, collecting essential toiletries to support the non-for-profit’s vital work in the local community. The response from Team MGM was fantastic, filling not one but two baskets full of donated toiletries. We had the pleasure of dropping those baskets off in person, handing them over to Deb & Nel at Micah Projects. It’s moments like these that remind us why we’ve kept this Mount Gravatt Mazda tradition going since 2019 – small, genuine acts of kindness really do add up to make a difference.
FREE FUEL – SURPRISE
As part of our final Random Acts of Kindness drive our MGM team members - Aishah, Emily and Kate visited a local petrol station within Mount Gravatt armed with bringing smiles to the local Mount Gravatt community. We were able to take care of 8 unsuspecting strangers fuel on the morning of Thursday, 27th August, while a handful of good Samaritan’s ask to pay it on forward, essentially doubling it giving the next stranger more of an opportunity. Random Acts of Kindness is always a heart-warming opportunity that provide our staff an outlet to give back to our local community. These days, with the cost of petrol rising, it allows us to help with something that is so topical and front of mind.

From supporting Micah Projects to surprising unsuspecting strangers with free fuel at our local fuel station, this year’s Random Acts of Kindness campaign has been all about giving back in ways big and small.
