šŸ’™ PAY IT FORWARD IN KINDNESS šŸ’™

At Mount Gravatt Mazda, we wholeheartedly believe that if you have the power to be kind, you should. So with that in mind, we are pleased to announce that MGM's Random Acts Of Kindness has returned in 2023. Soon you will see that kindness REALLY is for everyone and no act, no matter how small is ever truly wasted.

Join us, as we #payitforward and help spread kindness like wildfire.

Kindness starts with ONE

ā€¢ one smile ā€¢ one compliment ā€¢ one conversation ā€¢ one gestureĀ ā€¢Ā

So ask yourselves 'What would happen if we all decided to be just that little bit kinder to one another?'Ā This year let's allĀ make kindness the norm.Ā

This is a question we ask our team every year, and during our Random Acts of Kindness crusade, our staff come together to sprinkle kindness through our community and hope to be an example of what the world would look like with more kind gestures - and you get to be a part of it!

BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE

We hope to have highlighted the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world and toĀ understand that kindness is what binds us all together. This understanding has the power to bridge the gap between nations. With kindness, we can overcome the divides of politics, race, religion, gender, and so much more.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ SOUTHERN CROSS CARE DULIG VILLAGE

Today Neil, Liv and Shy visitedĀ Dean-Na, Trish and the wonderful staff and residents at Southern Cross Care's Duhig Village at Holland Park to host a delicious morning tea with a side of kind gestures. We know our team loves to thank our community's support workers, but this morning also highlighted the importance of social connections for seniors.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ SOUTH BRISBANE VOLUNTEERING IN POLICE

Their contribution is significant, with volunteers providing 10,000+ hours of voluntary service each year, so today as part of our Random Acts of Kindness, we welcomed Superintendant Craig, Inspector Wayne, Acting Senior Sargent Chris, and a wonderful group of VIP's to our showroom to recognise their service and convey the high value and appreciation of their commitment.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ KERRY'S WILDLIFE RESCUE & CARE

Today Kate and Sonja met with Kerry & Ross fromĀ Kerry's Wildlife Rescue & Care Inc.Ā What an absolutely wonderful couple who, for over 30 years have given their home, time, income and enormous hearts to care for our native wildlife. Their passion and dedication to this cause is truly admirable and at any given time they are providing round-the-clock cuddles and care for more than 20 possums, kangaroos, and wallabies.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ FUEL OF KINDNESS

Rob, Jared and Kate set off on a quick little visit to our local servo to #payitforward to a few unsuspecting strangers by paying at the pump! (while we were there, Rob thought the Mechanics out the back looked like they could do with a break, so he also treated them to a Kit Kat).Ā With the cost of everything increasing, ask yourself - could you have fuel intentions and help someone in your community by paying for their petrol?

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Some only dream and others bake it happen! Which is exactly how we feel about every member of Team MGM. Together we achieve great things, and we couldn't be prouder. Not only do you step up to the daily challenge, but each month you volunteer,Ā give it your all for our community, raise awareness, raise funds, step in and help a mate. Plus... cupcakes are sweet, but they are made even sweeter when shared!!

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ STATIONERY AID

A highlight(er) of our Random Acts of Kindness was meeting Jan and Alison from Stationery Aid who introduced us to Chappy Robyn at Wellers Hill State School. These beautiful women have a common goal that supports education for all. By either collecting new stationery items to help our disadvantaged children or by renewing used education resources, turning landfill into heartfill for our most vulnerable school kids.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS šŸ’™ HEARTFELT ADD TO CART

Putting smiles on stranger's faces, one grocery shop at a time. During the week, Taya and James popped down to Mount Gravatt ColesĀ and surprised a few local families at the check-out by offering to pay for their groceries. What seems like aĀ small supermarket gesture, can possibly resultĀ in countless positive chain-reactions - it's called the kindness ripple effect.

There is nothing moreĀ satisfying for our team than doing something nice for someone else, without them asking and withoutĀ doing it for something in return.

So as we close our #RAOK crusade for 2023, remember that simple acts of kindness have power and that together, we can all work to create a kinder world. You may wonder how compassion from one person can make a difference. It isn't easy to comprehend, but every kind act, even the smallest one, creates a ripple effect you canā€™t begin to imagine.Ā
