Mount Gravatt Mazda Driving Change
Mount Gravatt Mazda's new community crusade with TradeMutt
Mount Gravatt Mazda is excited to announce our brand-new community partnership with social enterprise, TradeMutt. Community and conversations are the essence of our newly formed alliance, dismissing the notion that talk is cheap.
We couldnât be more excited to launch OUR version of an âInfluencer Programâ. TradeMutt represents far more than filters on social media. They stand for the opposite⊠vulnerability, social responsibility and advocacy for mental health.
- Julian Mason | Dealer Principal
Famous for creating their loud, bright and funky âconversation-starting workwear for the blue-collar workforce, TradeMutt is an organisation trying to make the invisible issue of mental health impossible to ignore. Â
Born from personal tragedy, TradeMutt was co-founded by Dan Allen and Edward Ross in 2018 after a close friend took his own life. Their goal is to tackle suicide in Australia head-on, and in doing so, make Aussie tradies look great, feel great and be part of a movement that will change the face of mental health forever. These two mates on a mission are working on a far more preventative approach, empowering individuals with the tools, resources and knowledge they need to prevent people from finding themselves at crisis point.
What's more, 5% of the proceeds from all shirts purchased goes to the TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) Foundation and the revolutionary ways in which they are providing access to professional mental health support. TIACS is TradeMuttâ s very own charity devoted to supporting all people affected by mental health issues in the trade and field service industries. An initiative of TradeMutt, the TIACS banner logo sits proudly on the back of every shirt.
With suicide and mental health issues dramatically on the rise across the board, the team at Mount Gravatt Mazda thought there was no better time than now to help DRIVE a social shift in the way we all perceive mental health.
âDan and Ed are such likeable characters and their shirts are almost as colourful as they are. Â They are both making positive waves in the community and what better way to strengthen their message than providing moving billboards in the shape of two Mazda XTR 4x4 BT-50âs,â Mason said.
Bailey Print Group creating the perfect mobile billboard
Mount Gravatt Mazda proudly joined forces with Wippels Mazda who similarly supplied a Mazda BT-50, and we teamed up with the dynamic duo, Peter and Sam from Bailey Print Group who successfully designed and transferred the TradeMutt brand and ethos to wheels.Â
Aptly named the âMazda Muttsâ, you will be sure to see Ed and Dan cruising around South East Queensland sparking change and creating conversations.
Alternatively, simply visit our showroom to catch a glimpse of the eye-catching custom wrapped TradeMutt BT-50.  It's sure to get tongues wagging!
Itâs definitely a conversation starter and we couldnât be happier with the final result. You canât miss it!
At Mount Gravatt Mazda, we are committed to the TradeMutt movement in providing social change far and wide and we canât wait to see Ed and Dan further drive positive change for mental health.
