Cancer might have started the fight, but together we can finish it! October is Australia’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and did you know that as a part of MGM's community program, we raise awareness and funds for local charities through a partnership with QBE Insurance and the help of our newest family members - YOU! To honour customers, friends and family in our community who have been impacted by breast cancer, we will donate $30 from cars sold this month.
This KNOCKtober, we are proud to be supporting Be Uplifted Inc. A Brisbane-based breast cancer charity committed to supporting local families during breast cancer treatment.
Did you know? Early detection and diagnosis provide the best chance of survival, and with nine Australians dying from breast cancer every single day, we are asking you to be breast aware!
Who Is Be Uplifted?
Be Uplifted is a volunteer-run breast cancer not-for-profit charity that seeks to improve the lives of both women and men experiencing an unimaginable time in their lives. The charity aims to offer support and financial assistance to breast cancer patients and survivors through several Brisbane-based hospitals listed below:

Be Uplifted was founded in 2009 as a consequence of two friends walking their own breast cancer journeys. Since then, the charity has maintained a strong focus on supporting both women and men throughout their journeys and continues to help more patients each year. Their motto, “people, not research,” continues to be at the heart of what they do.
