In June 2019 we celebratedĀ our second birthday and the MGM Family was on a crusade to make kindness the norm. With this is mind, we set out on deliveringĀ Random Acts Of KindnessĀ inĀ our community.
Our Kindness Concepts included:
- Thank-you platters for our local heroesĀ at the fire, police and ambulance stations
- Morning tea at our community Men's Shed
- Brightening up the morning commute with flowers, newspapers, and umbrellas
- A book and food drive for those less fortunateĀ
- Shouting morning coffees and afternoon drinks
- Chocolate 'survival' boxes for parents at Friday afternoon pick-up
We also asked the people of Brisbane to help us celebrate by #payingitforward and nominating people they know who were deserving of a little extra kindness. With 4 major giveaway experiences, and an overwhelming response we couldn't choose just one weekly winner. The inspiring stories we read gave way to theĀ Kindness Kandidates:
