2025 Christmas Toy Drive
We are proud to announce our Toy Drive is back for its sixth consecutive year, and YOU can be a part of making a meaningful difference this Christmas.
At Mount Gravatt Mazda, our core values extend beyond delivering exceptional customer service and embracing the thrill of Zoom Zoom. Our team is committed to giving back to the local community, nurturing a culture of generosity and inclusivity in the process.
Thanks to our incredible community of generous supporters, like you, we can bring joy to paediatric oncology families during the festive season. Your donations lift the spirits of children and their families during their toughest times, and we are so grateful for your kindness.
How You Can Help:
By donating new toys, you are being the difference every sick child deserves.
We Accept:
*NEW* Board games, puzzles, dolls and action figures, building blocks, art & craft supplies, sports equipment, books, sensory & fidget toys. Teenagers are often overlooked and more gifts for this age group are in need (EG: gift vouchers, accessories, stationery, electronics)
Please Avoid:
Second-hand toys and anything not recently purchased, items containing button batteries, political, controversial or religious items, toys that depict violence or weapons (EG: toy guns, nerf guns, swords), items with sharp edges, food, toxic items, latex or scented items
Gifts will be distributed at the annual Childhood Cancer Support Christmas Party, as well as to families undergoing treatment and staying in accommodation over the holidays.
WHO IS CHILDHOOD CANCER SUPPORT?
For 50 years, Childhood Cancer Support has been keeping families together during their child's cancer treatment in a compassionate and supportive environment.
As you know, community is at the core of everything we do at Mount Gravatt Mazda and forming a connection with Childhood Cancer Support in 2020 was a natural decision.
Childhood Cancer Support has been supporting the Queensland paediatric oncology community and families since 1975 with practical, hands-on family support, home-away-from-home accommodation and transport services for children with cancer, and their families from regional, rural and remote locations.
Childhood Cancer Support meets the individual needs of each family. Their support extends to all family members, including children with cancer, their parents and guardians, siblings, grandparents, and other close relations.
Childhood Cancer Support is committed to supporting and providing families with a community that cares because this is a battle that cannot be fought alone.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELP
Our Christmas Toy Drive is only one of the ways you can help struggling families. Childhood Cancer Support can't fulfil its mission without help from people like you!
Be part of the village that helps families get through the worst time of their lives.
