EXTERIOR CHANGES
Key exterior changes for the updated Mazda CX-8 include a block mesh pattern grille and grille surround, restyled front and rear bumpers, a new headlight and taillight design and a sleeker rear tailgate that compliments the SUV’s contemporary form.
USB-C PORTS
The centre console will house 2 new USB-C ports to support a wider variety of devices for better functionality. Customers will enjoy being able to keep all their latest devices powered while on-the-go.
MAZDA CONNECT, APPLE CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO
Inside the three-row SUV, Mazda’s vibrant 10.25-inch Mazda Connect infotainment system now comes standard across the range, as does wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
REMOTE WINDOW FUNCTION
The Mazda CX-8 incorporates a remote window function into the key fob. By pressing the unlock button on the fob 3 times then holding down the button on the 4th press, all windows will be lowered in unison for as long as you hold the button down, providing relief for the interior on hot summer days.
NEW BODY COLOUR
Other visual upgrades include Mazda’s latest body colour, Rhodium White, which becomes the third Takuminuri colour in the range and joins a now eight-strong paint palette.
NEW SEAT TRIM
Touring Active grade now features a new trim, Revera Stone Maztex with Grey cloth. This sporty trim creates a light ambience in the cabin. Maztex, the Mazda leatherette, has the same touch, feel and durability as real leather.
PERFORMANCE
Mazda’s intelligent Drive Select or ‘Mi Drive’, which lets the driver switch between Normal, Sport and Off-Road modes, will be a standard feature for AWD models, making switching between AWD and normal mode a seamless experience for the driver.
Please note: Off-Road mode is only available on Diesel variants/Sports Mode is only available on Petrol variants.
COMFORT
One other thing customers will appreciate about the new CX-8 is just how comfortable the ride is. Suspension and seat updates mean an even smoother ride than previous models, adding to what was already an un-bumpy and extremely quiet cabin experience.
