BRAND-NEW MAZDA BT-50 HAS ACHIEVED THE MAXIMUM FIVE-STAR SAFETY RATING FROM THE AUSTRALASIAN NEW CAR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (ANCAP), ACROSS ALL UTE TYPES.
Tested according to the stringent standards set by ANCAP, which became even more stringent in the latest round of test updates for 2020 and beyond, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 shone in all criteria to achieve the highest possible safety score from ANCAP.

Launched in Australia in October 2020, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 also boasts an extensive list of standard safety features, with the bulk deployed as standard from the entry grade XT.

Mazda’s Advanced Driving Assistance System includes technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control (automatic models), Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as standard equipment for the first time.
Standard features also include Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), eight SRS Airbags (driver, front passenger, side, curtain, driver’s knee and driver’s far-side), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Lane-keep Assist (LAS, automatic models), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Roll Over Protection (ROP) and Traction Control System (TCS).
The XT models offer LED Headlamps and halogen daytime running lamps, while XTR and GT grades employ self-levelling LED Headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and front fog lamps.
