To raise a cold one to the tradies across the country and showcase the outstanding towing capabilities of the brand-new Mazda BT-50 SP, Mazda Australia introduces The Pub That Trade Made; a towable, fully-fledged pub on wheels.
The pub made a 1,800-kilometre journey along the east coast from Melbourne to Brisbane via the Central Coast in July and was made possible by the brand-new Mazda BT-50’s impressive 3.5 tonne towing capacity.
A team of eight top tradies were recruited to create this one-of-a-kind pub at a top-secret warehouse location in Melbourne. A team of carpenters, sparkies, painters, metal-workers, builders and an engineer turned The Mazda BT-50 Pub That Trade Made from a dream into a reality.
Measuring six meters long and weighing in at 2.5 tonnes, the centrepiece is a custom-built bar where tradies, locals and tourists enjoyed free non-alcoholic Heaps Normal Quiet XPA at each location on the Pub’s tour.
The Mazda BT-50 Pub That Trade Made salutes our trades sector which keeps Australia moving, day in and day out. Celebrated for its mix of on-road refinement, off-road capability, and class-leading safety credentials, Mazda’s Brand-New BT-50 ute was built for jobs like this.
