A partnership built on driving conversations
The TradeMutt and Mount Gravatt Mazda alliance started in early 2021, centred around community and conversations. We came together to help make an invisible issue impossible to ignore, so with that goal in mind we created the Mazda Mutts - Head turning, conversation starting Mazda BT-50's. These mobile billboards ensure Dan & Ed can spread their message far and wide.
In February 2023, again with the support of Wippels Mazda we refreshed and set-free the Mazda Mutts 2.0 - These updated BT's ensure the boys can continue driving conversations around mental health, in particular for our tradies, truckies, farmers and blue-collar workers.
In February 2024, we strengthened our alliance even further with the addition of another BT-50 - this time for Jason Banks co-CEO of TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter). With another reminder that you don't have to go it alone out in the traffic, the TIACS and TradeMutt team hope to attend more community engagements and fundraisers to create further awareness of the work that TIACS is doing to support the blue-collar community of Australia.
50% of all TradeMutt proceeds go to TIACS Foundation, who provide access to professional mental health support. TIACS is TradeMutts very own charity arm which is dedicated to supporting people who find themselves affected by mental health issues. The TIACS logo sits proudly on the back of every TradeMutt funky shirt design as a subtle reminder for all.
We were also fortunate to be one of the first businesses to partner with the talented Designers at TradeMutt to create our own corporate polo shirts. Each week, you will see our staff rocking their customer workwear for #FunkyShirtFridays. These stand as a catalyst in raising awareness amongst our community and fostering mental health conversations with our employees and customers.
If you’re going through a tough time, the TIACS Foundation provide unlimited professional and confidential mental health support. Through their FREE text, chat and call back service you will receive direct support. Get in touch now – 0488 846 988.
